Lesson #3: Time is a grease trap interceptor

It ended. Just like that. One of the many eye opening weeks of my life.
People from 52 countries. People who have seen the way things have gone wrong in their homelands.

Everyone shares the twinkle in the eye, coming from the excitement that we’re all going to get to know a little more about a few of you.

The first week, you speak to anyone who smiles at you. You’re excited to know where they come from. Class is great. You’re observant. You’re asking many questions.

Then comes the second week, you’re first class of the week has been a bit slow. You think you might’ve only seen the good parts in the first week. You’re just smiling at people now. A “hi how are you” at the most.

Mid second week has a good vibe. We had a good Tuesday night and now we have some stories to take back home.

Class is interesting again. You’re motivating each other during the breaks that it’s very interesting. It helps.

Third week.

Assignments, presentation, exam on Friday. But wait, what? So quick?

I’m feeling a bit stressed but, in a good way. Like alright, time flew I didn’t realize. That we may not share the coffee breaks after this week. The things we talk about in the breaks, is where the real lessons are.
Today, I finished my exam. Made a few silly mistakes because of my weak memory.

But now it’s time to celebrate…. after a nap though.
Lesson #3 in the Netherlands: Life is beautiful, when it rains and even more when the sun is shining.

  1. And now it is over and all will become a distant memory if we allow it.
Is this just another stepping stone or is this a launch pad to new adventures. What ever is is stepping stone or launch pad, it is rich it is raw it is new it is what it is
